It’s Daring Baker Challenge time!

As you may recall, last month I joined the ranks of the Daring Bakers. Well, it’s that time again. And this time… the challenge was Lemon Meringue Pie courtesy of Jen over at The Canadian Baker. Another first for me, oh boy!

I decided to get a jump on things, so I tackled this one early in the month. After all, how hard could lemon meringue really be, right?

pumpkin pie that will rock your socks

One of my favorite things about the holidays? Pumpkin pie. It thrills me to no end that both of our families enjoy pumpkiny goodness at both Thanksgiving and Christmas. So, when I was planning our Thanksgiving meal this year, I was pretty excited to stumble upon Dorie Greenspan’s Sour Cream Pumpkin Pie. It did not disappoint. This will certainly find a home in my recipe box. Delicious!!
